simple answer 3-9x40 vx1, I would urge you to get the lr duplex model to give you space to grow your skills within your scope

I got one years ago and have vx3s and 2s and burris this and that and most things inbetween but the trusty old vx1 has done far more miles and shot far mor animals and taken far more knocks.

places to buy include reloaders supplies auckland or richard wilhelms scopes and optics. or who ever is having a special. expect to pay roughly 370$ at a pretty good price. still one of my favorite scopes and one that holds its value, so dont bother going second hand just buy new for peace of mind

i can bet the scope will follow you to your next rifle too
