    My next door neighbour actually solved this darkness/optical problem we now face way back in the eighties when i was a kid by using an aircraft landing light as apotlight and opensight .303. He was a pragmatic West Coaster

    My dad still has a DC3 landing light as a spotlight, great for bunnys shit for anything else.
