    You can always take a small magnifying glass and carry it in a stock/comb pack.

    With target shooting a lot of the guys with failing (close) eyesight, use magnifying glasses to check the micrometer settings on their sights.

    Other option would be to work out drops for mil reticle if you can see those in the scope, and then just shoot by using dots in the sight picture ?
