Work out how much you have the other way and get inserts to suit. If you only go for a small gain now you will no doubt need more after the next session when you want to shoot to 6-800 Get inserts to take you as close to the bottom of elevation you can.

This video explains how the Burris inserts work, pretty technical though.

    1" or 30mm scope?
In the front ring put your - insert on the bottom and a + insert on the top. In the back ring + insert on the bottom - insert on the top. If you have greater than -5 +5 inserts, use them. That way you should get your scope operating nearer its optical centre thru the range you wish to shoot. The very worst (unlikely) that could happen is you may have probs getting a 100yd zero (highish) but at least you will have lots of elevation for those 1500yd shots.

You can also just add offset inserts to one ring and zeros to the other to only get a small change. In your case though I would put offsets in both rings. Don't forget to very lightly oil the outers of the inserts but obviously don't get any oil on the inner surfaces.
