    Scope MOA Base's

On my Tikka 7mmRM I have a Zeiss 3-15 with Target Turrets it has 70MOA of adjustment, I've made myself a makeshift Zero stop which allows me to dial "up" till the scope runs out of MOA (multiple revolutions) but still stops when on the way down at/near my zero.

I've now realised that my scope when Zeroed @ 200m is 23MOA away from the top of my dialing room.

If I got a 20 MOA base (like the one GunWorks sell) that would give me 43 MOA worth of dialing, Correct?

Yes, providing there is that much adjustment in the scope, otherwise you simply won't be able to zero it at close ranges

Sweet, will check them out, after crunching numbers it gets me to like 900m which is probably enough for now.

Your 23moa may get you where you want, but it's less than ideal to be using the edge of your adjustment range, I had a VX3 where it would track in a curve towards the end of the elevation range. Straight in the middle, curved towards one side at the end. Possibly because the rings I was using required quite a lot of windage to get a zero.

@gimp yea that makes sense. So if I do go with that 20moa base what rings from gunworks should I get?
My scope is 1" with 42mm front end... basically my standard Optiloks fit perfectly.

Would these be the right rings to get, Medium?
Gunworks Ltd - 1" Weaver skeleton rings
