I know the Rossi Rio Grande 30-30’s came with a detachable one piece mount, although that’s more of a 336 clone. Otherwise I’m sure there’s an 1892 mount available in the US.
How about just becoming proficient with the iron sights? I know they aren’t in vogue, but a short .357 is not the definition of a long range rifle. I can’t stand the sight of a scope on a lever gun, but that’s just me. Otherwise there’s a truck load of aftermarket aperture sight makers, XS, Williams, Skinner, Marbles, Lyman etc. I personally prefer standard iron sights for bush work, but a small aperture can make for a very definite point of aim at extended ranges.
