    Scope Question ?

Ive got a Leupy 4.4 -14 VXL that has a 100y set parallax and no mater what I do I can't get the cross hairs & focus to meet up when the power is wound up over 10 power at any range over about 300yard it really fucks me off. Is this the norm for a set parallax scope or does it need to be sent for repair ( PS- I don't want'a sound like a dumb arse but all my LR scopes have adjustable parallax ) so I don't normally have this problem
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!

That sounds odd. I'm picking it's shagged mate, I have the same scope and never had any issues.
    Someone will no.

Has it always been like that or just started?

If it's new to you, have you adjusted the focus ring? The correct way to focus your scope is to set it on full magnification and aim at a something black, a white wall from only a few meters away works well. You need to lift up your rifle and look through the scope just for a second, in that initial second the cross hairs should straight away be nice and sharp, if they aren't then adjust the focus ring on the eye piece and try again. Repeat until it's perfect. You can't keep looking through the scope as your eye will adjust to it and make it look good, so you have to look through it for a split second.

Either bring the rifle up like you are going to make a quick shot, then drop it down again, or look down at the floor (over your shoulder) then snap your head into position.

If you have already done this and it's ok, then I have no idea lol.

I have this problem at 100y or closer with cheap fixed parralax scopes. Never had a problem at longer range.
    Could be scope issue?

Exactly! The focus is the one control that you set and never have to touch, why is it that it's the easiest to adjust of any adjustment.
I've also thought it a stupid idea, especially on a Burris Fulfilled 2, where the whole eye piece turns and you are almost guaranteed to move it.

Have you checked the focus? I'd almost bet money it was that that's the problem.
Or so you need to wear glasses for anything and haven't been using them? My father found with some scopes he needed to wear his reading glasses, but others he didn't.

Yeah it could just be my eyes, I need to get a couple of over people ( that have good eyes and appreciate decent glass ) to have a looksie & then come up with a diagnosis.
