Thread: Scope Recommendations for low power zoom?

Im thinking of setying up the exact same rifle, be vrest if it would fit one of wingmans custom stocks.

My choice of scope is the same make/model i used years ago on a baikal 7.62*39 a leupold 1.5-5*20.

Zeroed at 100m if i shot at 200m on 5 magnification the poi was where the vertical post in the reticle got fat if that makes sense, that was using SST rnds

Anyway a great bush scope and i believe there is a new model out now thats illuminated or has a firedot if required..

Ive been hunting with the attitude of one rifle to do it all (heavy 308, 20inch barrel) which has been fine but with a dpt and 8 baffles its a bit long and heavy in the west coast tropical rain forest( code for thick, wet, shit )
