    Scope recommendations(opinions) for use on all-round .375 H&H

    Hi Team,

As above, your recommendation/opinions for .375H&H using 270gr projectiles only.
Spanner in the works MUST be 25mm tube!

I had originally thought of a 2x - 10x Burris Signature HD E3 reticle, but these are out my price range now

    Go!

What is your price range? I run a leupold vx3i 3.5-10 and QR rings on my 375. Does everything from close to long.

Is dialling a necessity? Would be looking at the like of a Burris, Leupold, Bushnell, vortex at that price range. Some like this?

Some .375’s have a very long action so need to match tube length with mount spacing.

On my .375’s I have use fixed 3 and 4 powers and low powered variables 1.5 - 5 and 2-7x leupold mostly.

Got a older model Zeiss Diavari 3-9x36 standard duplex if that’s of interest.

@mawzer308 dialling is not a necessity, which is why I liked the E3 reticle. Dot for quick shots, holdovers for longer shots and not as cluttered a view.

@chainsaw, thanks for the offer, but would prefer something with different reticle type.

Two questions - what is your maximum range, and do you intend to use it on dangerous game? If the answer to the second question is yes, then a 1-4x is what you should consider. If not, then 2-7x or 3-9x should be fine, depending on your answer to question 1. There are lots of options in a 1" non-dialling scope in those magnification ranges. Not so sure about the 1-4x though.
