    Scope reducing rings

Does anyone know if you can get inserts to reduce 30mm down to 1"?
Was thinking it around save swapping out rings if I wanted to switch my vx6 around but be able to put my cheap and cheerful back on. The talley rings I a Browning have 4 screws on each and take forever to change

    I've used these on a couple of rifles - 30 mm to 1" and 30mm to 26mm.
They work very well plus don't mark your tube.

Would be expensive if buying on their own. I usually bought other stuff at the same time to spread the shipping cost.

Plus right now getting stuff ex USA is hit and miss. Recently I had one parcel take 10 days whilst I have another that is coming up 57 days and no sign of it.

so.....red neck in me says find hose of near enough correct diameter and wall thickness and cut short length off, slice down it lengthways, clip over scope and inside your rings....much more precise than first thought......multiple wraps of electrical tape...lol

Aliexpress seems to show them for only a few bucks including shipping - might be worth a try.

Fit Warne bases and set each scope up with a set of Warne QD rings

Great minds think alike @nicky duck. The tape would even have some give in it so wouldn't damage the scope.

@Remmodel7... I think I have some of those plasticy/ nylon ring reducers from 30 to 25 mm if you want them.
Let me know if you do and I will see if I can find them...

Would 3D printing of the inserts be an option?

Cheap - hell yes, cheerful - not at all! Utter shit. Would not recommend at all.
Caveat Emptor. Aliexpress has its place as long as you're selective with your purchases and realistic with your expectations. I'm up to about a dozen purchases with good results. Plenty of things I wouldn't (and don't) buy from there, but a simple set of injection moulded inserts for scope rings? I reckon they'd be fine, and how much are you risking? Maybe $5 shipped and a few minutes to check them out with calipers or scope alignment bars?
