Thread: Scope Rings

I've recently become a rifle owner again with the purchase of a sexy new .45-70 (Porn pics to come once everything is set up. I need some 1" medium height scope rings that fit a picatinny rail in order to mount my scope. The world of scope ring variety is confusing to me, which brand/model should I be buying?

At this stage I don't think I need any special features like quick detatch or adjustment inserts. I just want to connect the scope to the rifle in a secure fashion that will hold zero. Bonus points if you can link me to a shop that's actually selling the rings you recommend, and has them in stock.
