But....it is also valid to enjoy spending coin and buy the best available piece of kit and fancy optics - simply for the fun of it. Good to own and experiment with a beautifully machined rifle . My hobby is sports cars - absolutely unnecessary to have all that extra performance and handling - but alot of fun.

yep , I know what you are saying and agree totally re to many controls etc and no time to use them all . Hence a BDC type reticle rather than dialing , particularly if I end up using different rounds for differing jobs . And the ranges I expect to be using it will vary from point blank to 100+ on little targets so would like the 4-12 or 16 but think side focus/parallax would also help my tired eyes see clearer out longer range with rabbits ...
