    In search of Havalon 70A blades

    Hey team, I'm trying to source 70a blades but can't seem to track any down in NZ. Any ideas where I can find some?

    I don't like working with the pointy version, rounded is far better for headskinning

    I headskin with a Mercator with a rounded tip

    Works perfectly

    Just the right size around eyes,lips and pedicles

    Plenty of control and precision

    I also use a Mercator, but feel I can be a little more precise with the Havalon at times, usually switch between the 2

    Spoke to Craig at a southern Adventures. He rang the supplier who said that the 70A blades are only being supplied to Taxidermists now. Sounds wrong to be honest but perhaps there is a taxidermist on the forum who can confirm either way.
    On the plus side it sounds like you can still get the various other blades and they suggested the 60A blades- which is what I use.
