Question Seeking Opinions on Zeiss Conquest V6 3-18x50

    Hey everyone,

I'm considering getting the Zeiss Conquest V6 3-18x50 and wanted to hear from those who have used it. What are your thoughts on this scope? Have you encountered any issues with it?

Additionally, how does Zeiss compare to other high-end brands like Swarovski and Kahles in terms of performance, durability, and value for money? Feel free to compare it with any other brands you suggest as well.

    Looking forward to your insights!

    Thanks!

I have one, bloody excellent scope. Get a few extra minutes of shooting light over a Vx5 3-15x44. Dials are spot on. No complaints.

Zeiss glass in their top end models is up there with very best alpha optics, and the V6 would be in that category. Had V6 5-30x50 on my long range banger N28, superb glass, dial up accurate & reliable. When buying RF binos a few years back I tried all the top end Euro brands as well as a bunch of others. The Zeiss Victory were the best to my eyes, but too spendie for my budget. Zeiss make a wide range of optics starting at mid range going to very top in terms of optical quality, not sure where the V6 glass fits in that spectrum. Probably not quite at the “Victory” level but very good.

Only gripe, I wish they’d stuck with 44mm objective on the 3-18x. Much prefer that on hunting rifle over a 50mm

I had that model scope. It was a great scope. Nice glass, dialed well, sturdy construction.
The reason I sold it was that I thought the reticle was a bit heavy for long range shots for me. I like to be able to aim small and it didn't do it for me.
Kahles are great scopes, nice fine rets, good glassand tough exterior coatings
Swaros don't do it for me. Great reticle and glass but long like noodle and turrets feel too mushy. That and I've owned one that didn't dial to scale at all.

Got one I'm not using, as don't do the long range stuff anymore. PM if interested

They are a great all-rounder tho I am yet to own one.
44mm would be more than enough
capped windage and zero lock elevation turret
updates reticle options would be very hard to beat.
