Yep, that hurts! A bit like my original Army Indian (still in Olive Drab with the numbers on the tank) that I rode for 8 months before accepting an offer of 6 Pounds (1966). As that was a 50% profit I let it go. I haven't been able to afford another one since!

Yeah, I'll be honest mate, the chance of that coming up on the market is pretty slim, it's a cracker rifle and I scored an H profile 303 barrel with mint rifling recently so the plan is to have the h barrel profiled to match the original winchester profile, install it and eliminate the slop in the front handguards, have already procured a saddle ring and mounting hardware and all I need to find is some original irons and she'll be complete and ready for re finishing.

Have I sold or destroyed things I shouldn't have yes probably , do I regret it no .

Im 100% with you on that one.. Shit comes and go's.. the memories and stories remain.
