The Marlins are great for the money and generally do what they should from the box. There is a reason they are the worlds largest selling rimfire semi action outselling Ruger by over 2:1. To get the Ruger to shoot anywhere near as well as the Marling usually means dropping at least another $2k onto it; even then it is not likely to match the Marlin

Going to be sighting in my model 60 now that it has a scope on it next weekend before I head to clements mill road or otherwise after I head out while on my way home.
