you need a police form for mailing ammo yet I'm sure if you went to an H+F store and they didn't have your applicable .339 wonderbee cartridge there but it was at one of the other stores, what's the difference them getting it from them, or the same for a rifle that isn't in stock. What's the difference? They have the power to inspect your license is valid and matches you for retail purposes but not for mailing?

Agree, it really does defy common sense and logic .
