SAVAGE. If you Google Savage, you will see they are known to be some of the most accurate rifles straight out of the box. I have the 11 International Trophy Hunter in .223 and shoot hares to 400 yards with cheap Hornady 55gr that comes in box of 50. As ebf said, nothing wrong with a spare scope and the scope that comes in the package deal is a good scope (Weaver 3-9x40).
