Haven't used the vortex but I have a lucid and rate it for the $

Wayne, did you try my Vortex In the end at the Carbineers practice day? Can't remember if you did.
I had look through yours but never shot with it. I'm sorta fishing to see if the extra magnification of the 4x over the 3x is a benefit, that and if I don't pull my finger out I'll have nothing to shoot at the ASRA champs...guess it ain't the end of the world, i got the $ set aside so i could get either. (Only issues is the P7 is on the never never, never know when the bloody thing is going to arrive and reloaders has a Vortex in stock)
apparently digit will have the lucids in 4 weeks, personally i want to get the highest mag i can get within Service class,
and im not willing to spend acog money, the lucid is at the max end of my scope budget
I think its best if you keep with Iron Sights Wayne, then I may have a slight advantage at the 500m mound... :P

A lot of the guys I do it with do the real thing as well but just do airsoft to practice while in Taiwan. As the problem solving part is the same and reloads etc all work the same.
