    Shit websites

Whats up with these major companies having such crappy websites, Swarovski's ( both US & Europe ) are rubbish, one doesn't even half half their scopes on it, so I have no idea if the Z6 3-18 & 5-30 are even still being produced.

& don't start me on Sako, fuk me these cunts are even worse, There's very few accurate dets on their new 90 models & the $9000 Quest ultra has no info at all.

Ie - apparently cutting 4" off the barrel makes no difference to the weight of a gun hahahaha, I recently brought a Quest ( 6.6lb / 3kg on the official Sako webby ) Mine came with a M18 20" barrel threaded 5/8 x 24 ( unknown to me as there was no specs about profile or threading ) & it weighs 6 lb 15oz / 3150g, that mightn't sound like a major issue but still you think a company like Sako could get it right on a 7.5k gun.

Yes "first world" problems are real lol

Good website designers are like good software developers... they are rare, expensive and do not have to put up with diversity (and other corporate) nonsense introduced by obese middle aged white women...

Can't remember what site I was looking at at couple of weeks ago, outdoor/camping gear stuff but the site was absolute shit, everytime I looked at an item and pushed the back button it went right back to the homepage. Slightly frustrating.

A trick that sometimes works to get into sites that block you if you aren't based there.

If wanting to get into into a UK based site, go to google.co.uk and search for the site you want - probably works using google.com as well

Probably one of the only good things about Starlink is it seems to let you get into every US based website!

But if we are talking hard to drive websites, Reloaders should be on the list and Workshop Innovation is a pain in the arse too.

Some stores don't have websites, do mail order or much technology. Just rely on good old fashioned service and product knowledge!

I would still like to visit them

There's an easy way around that. Get a free VPN or a browser with one in-built and youll be sweet. I'd be happy to explain it further.

A lot are just flashy ads for upcoming or current models. Even recently dropped products have no downloadable manuals, spare parts lists and diagrams listed anymore. Some few companies have excellent data base of past models with support info (esp for diy repairs) but most pretend nothing existed before apart from what is currently flashing over your screen.

That would be just fine if I had any idea what it was and had any idea how to get my computer to do what I tell it

I'm pretty well at the limit of my digital capacity already
And in the process of forgetting half of my analogue stuff also

Agree the Reloaders is very clunky

I really hate that web sites leave out of stock products up as fishing bait

Or is it just that the whole world is out of stock of everything ?
