Thread: Shortened 7mm08 advice

my model 7 708 is 17" i am running 150gn ELDX in my hand loads these are devestating out to plenty far enough, my furthest shot so far is 330 yards,
unfortunately haven't shot anything much closer yet, but with 145gn eldx in my old 270win I shot reds and fallow from inside 20 yards to 400 plus with great effect, don't stole them too hot and they are better up close but that said I had no issues at sensible velocities.
as a side note the hornandy precision hunter ELDX factory loads also shot well out of my rifle. I may even have a few left....
