Thread: Shortened Ruger 10/22 magazines?

A correctly set-up 10/22 should just drop the magazine into your hand when you press the mag release. You should not have to pull it out. New magazines tend to have very sharp edges which can sometimes hang up. Just put a 1mm chamfer on the edges with a sharp chisel. (At this point some people might like me to point out the hazards of a sharp chisel. If you need to be told that then you have no right to own a firearm!)
