    Shortening and Threading Chromed bore Barrel

    Hello - Is there any "difference" or issues in shortening, recrowning and threading a chrome bore AR barrel over a conventional barrel??

    No problems, subject to having good sharp tooling in your lathe. When facing off and crowning always work from the centre of the bore outwards. This will solve any problems with the chrome plating chipping at the muzzle.

    My pencil barrel shortened down to 12.5 inches shot even better after I had it shortened
    chrome lined daniel defence

    your results may vary
