Thread: Shotgun on Goats

Iv shot quite a few goats & sheep using buck shot & slugs , the slugs smash them bit of over kill especially head shots !! , 00 is good get a nice tight choke on the end you will drop them at 40 easy enough , I don’t have any yards at my place so everything gets shot & sometimes I can’t be bothered strategically approaching sheep with a 22 so I grab the pump action choke is pretty tight don’t no what size it is but my finger doesn’t go to far in there , sheep at 40 no trouble head shots of course but even if you were aiming at the shoulder it would have the same effect it’s quite devastating.
