I'm looking at replacing my vx2 on a 7mm wthrby mag with sigs Sierra 3 4.5-14×50, for 2k you also get the Bluetooth rangefinder, but does anyone know what the scopes optics are like, looking out the shops window on a cloudy day isn't much help

I cant speak for the durability of the scope but have to admit I was impressed with the optics of the scopes and binos have looked thru.
Have used a set of their binos in the field and they're above average in glass imo.

Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
you can see a bunch of lines running across the scope - I had the 3-10 for a while
I liked it for the BDX system yeah, for glass no - was for a 300 BLK running subs so a lot of elevation changes in a short space of time so it made sense
Sold it after the BLK went, for an other dialing prefer a rangefinder that gives ballistics and just dial properly
@faregame didn't have much time in shop but did notice horizontal lines, were they the main reason and/or low light performance ?
Mostly the requirement for lots of quick shots changed - was good for subs - tag and shoot the dot
Once that went I wanted clear glass and the lines just didn’t do it for me -
I looked at getting a larger scope for longer range but figure was better off with a range finder and app or rangefinder with ballistics in it and having a good scope for dialing
