    Sightron Siii FFP

At about 1400 NZD plus post and gst etc
is this a good buy, anything wrong with them for a varmint type rifle or a longer range rifle that won't get beat up. Cheaper than SHV and others of that ilk

    What do you think.

At the lower power the reticle looks very small I think. I looked through one at the last sika show.

Thanks, was hoping it might be
I've been trying to get onto the sightron site to check the reticle subtensions but for some reason it keeps asking for a Microsoft password, wierd

Mine isn't mill or ffp, but I like them. The 8-32 is good for varmints but it probably depends how far your shooting. Mines moa and I find the centre dot a bit big at times, like fine target work, 100 yard, but I just use either the top or bottom mark. But in the real world with critters it is fine.

How much magnification do you need? what about this? S111 glass I believe.

Depends on the twist, but if that's 3-400 I also have the tac, something sightron. The new one . It's 4-20 still good glass a bit cheaper cost, good low to high range in magnification. Not really any down side from the s3, oh it's the stac, I'm getting old.
I'm the kind of person who likes high power I zoom right in usually. I say my 8-32 it good for long range varmints but next time I would try 10-50. Probably won't use all the top end for a change but a rabbit is very small and 600. I may regret that who knows.
