Yep. CTR uses standard american 5/8-24 thread, and the heavy barrel Tikka /Sako uses M18x1.0mm. Just sent special orders of my brakes to Oz for both of these models this week. The CTR is getting popular there but hasn't been promoted much here yet.

I WOULD have liked a CTR in .260 Rem, but the 20" barrel length puts me off buying one, would rather go for a Super Varmint.
Wish that the Tactical came in .260 like the CTR.

Just ceracoat a super varmint and it will almost look like a real CTR:-)

But look nicer with the longer barrel, different check piece and I personally don't like the look of the trigger guard and magazine on the CTR. Not that it really matters, just less reason for me to buy it.
