About LinkBacksI've ordered a ruger American all weather stainless in 223.
Looking at Scopes, I'd like to try a Redfield. I'll be using it for hares and goat type shooting so was looking at the 4-12x42. I also see there is a 3-9x50. What is the difference in use and what does it effect by it being higher above the barrel?

Which size Redfield scope?
