Thread: SKS Magazine - Where can I get them?

Hello

I'm after Magazines for an SKS (Guncity CHOATE STOCK SKS DRAG) - Preferably not Duckbill if that's possible - want to be able to have one readily available in my pocket.
This will be used for hunting, I don't have any endorsements.

Ive had a look around NZ, and can't see many options - there appear to be a few international places with many more options - though Ive only found 10round mags so far - Is it Ok to get one of these and stick a screw in it to reduce the capacity?

Any suggestions, advice that could help?

In my humbl opinion, you're better off with the fac tory mag and a few stripper clips. With a bit of practise you can be just as fast with the stripper clips.
Aftermarket mags for the sks are total shit...The sks was not designed for mag changes, if you want that, get an AK...

Faster with stripper clips by far the mag dosnt fall off,or not feed cos it didn't clip in right stick with the original sights or a red dot scopes are not needed

Yeah, I wouldn't bother forking out insane money for a magazine that fits in A cat for an SKS.

Stripper clips are where it's at.

Go for the strippers man they won't let you down and they help you shoot your load quick or as quick as those expensive over-priced magazines.
