    slazenger lithgow 22 hornet

    Hi All I have been offered a slazenger lithgow 22 hornet in great condition with ammo and reloading gear just was after anybodies thoughts on this rifle any info would be great.

    The Hornet is pretty dated as a chambering now, long since supersceded by flatter and farther shooting .223 etc. If it was a Walther or an Anschutz, then it'd be a nice quality bit of kit in an interesting old chambering and might add value to a collection, but a Slaza from Aussie? I think not. If you don't already have a .223 and want a knock-about oldie for the odd hare out to 150m, go for it, but like anything else, it will still need good glass on top.

    Just my tuppence....
    10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.
