If it's the one with the alloy bedding block be aware that the alloy "skeleton" goes almost all the way to the tip of the fore I had to spend a considerable amount of time with a dremel removing alloy from where I drilled the hole for the adapter. Still worth doing.
What I would suggest is to get a very fine drill bit and drill some holes from the inside of the barrel channel to try and find where the "skeleton" finishes they can later be tidied up with the epoxy that you'll be using for bedding the mount anyway.
Out of curiosity where is everyone getting their flush mounts these days ?
