Spotting scope for directing long range fire

hope everyones staying sane over the lockdown!

I've taken time to review my notes from the crosshairs LRH course from mid feb.

I'm after some experience around spotting scopes with reticles.
Anyone used spotters with grid reticles? do they obscure bullet splashes once going further out?

I'm looking at buying one since I was lucky enough to attend the crosshairs course back in feb and got to put my eye up to a variety of different spotting scopes ranging from high end to budget.
One of the bugs I found was calling in accurate adjustments when going out further and shot corrections was purely based on target size.
Large misses especially when shooting with tricky wind or validating new loads proved much harder due to lack of a spotting scope with a reticle.

Anyways, long story short I can watch all the youtube and read reviews that I want you cant beat owners opinions.

Who here owns and is willing to share their experience with the 8-40x60 LMSS?

Oh and ranges are upto 1100m on targets.

I found using my Leica spotting scope and a home made attachment I could set my phone to video with say a 20 second delay get down behind the rifle take shot go back to phone replay and see what was going on and you can play it over and over even in slow motion expand zoom in and take stills.

No more no one seen anything.

    The no mates spotting system.

Thats not a bad idea! the thing is I can chuck almost anyone behind the spotter with a reticle and there is no guessing on where the impact is!
