Cam/ lever type.
The twist one can jam up with Shit real easy, and also can be difficult to grab with wet hands etc. To release - have seen a mate fighting one for a while, and just gave up until he could get some polys onto it. Thinking back, we could have used some rope wrapped around it and a stick, but hindsight is 20/20. (Not manfroto)

I have a manfroto ali with quick detach mount and cam legs and rate it (just haven't used it enough......)
