    depends what you need one for, I had my son make me one for prone shooting, all the ones you can buy are over $200

    I had to buy the camera "ball" but that is the best way to adjust it. The pole can move up and down and swivel as well for coarse adjustment.
    Its best suited for flatter ground such as indoor small bore and out door full bore.

    Most tripods have trouble getting low enough for prone work without ending up on your shooting mat ...lying down too
