    Spotting scopes

Any one have recommendations for a good, reasonably priced Spotting scope up to $1200 ?

I want to be able to see 17 HMR size bullet holes at 100 meters.

I chose a Vanguard Endeavour. Very happy with it. About $900-$1k. It was bought primarily for range spotting and I’m able to juuuuust see holes at 300 yds. (6.5x55)

The one time I took it out I got this photo, stag is at ~600 yd. Holding phone up to the eyepiece to get a picture doesn’t really do justice to the quality of the glass.

    +1 for the Vanguard.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
