About LinkBacksFor years there seamed to be this train of thought that you could cut a rifle down to 16" but not more. If you deared do more it would be ruined!
I cut my main hunting rifle down to 9.5" and suppressed it years ago and have never looked back since.
My other rifles are all cumbersome longrange rigs and need a bit of length to them to serve the specialty they are are to do, but 99% of my real hunting is still done with the 9.5" .223.
