Sent my PTP off today so looking forward to getting mine, hopefully in a week or so once its cleared in Wellington.
I will do a brief write-up when it arrives.
Will be used on paper, steel and maybe a few goats.
I have a ddle 9mm and as I understand it the. Qc10 ones are the same-just a chand of company name/management.
It's a awesome bit of kit, I'm sure digits pricing will be much better than what mine cost me a few years back
Well my Stag 9T finally cleared Wellington and arrived.
Took way longer than I expected but I guess that's what happens when its the first lot imported by anyone into the country.
First impressions are good. Feels good in the hands.
Lower and upper fit and finish is good.
Trigger is standard mil spec so is ok. I will shoot it then decide if an upgrade is needed.
The bolt is a blow back design so is a really simple and clean cut design. This will making cleaning way easier than a standard AR15.
I have mounted a Vortex Spark 2 which is one of my favourite red dot sights. I am running three of these currently on various firearms.
All going well I will take it to the range tomorrow after work, sight it and the give it a quick run.
I just loaded 150 rounds so I can try out a few loads. At about $190 per 1000 its going to be cheap to shoot.
I will let you know how it goes.

Was shooting some steel and paper with it mid last week at the club ... Great cal to shoot for value for money :thumbsup:

Put the first shots through my Stag 9T tonight.
I should have taken more ammo. 150 rounds did not last long at all. Dam fun to shoot. Will take 500 rounds next time.
Sighted it in at 50m then checked the speed of the loads I had.
Blazer 115gn clocked in at 1400 fps and my 124gn hand loads were doing 1300fps. My hand loads left the Blazer for dead accuracy wise with some nice sub 1.5" groups at 50 meters. I will do some load development as I am sure I can get it under 1" at 50. Groups were shot using a 2 min red dot in fast fading light.
Not a single jam so no issues there.
May play with subs in the future but happy to stay with supers for now. The supers smack the plates down that's for the sure.
Looking forward to trying it out to 200m in the near future.

The stock trigger is not too bad really but after twenty plus years of shooting match triggers, its hard to get the best out of any stock trigger.
Just loaded up some more ammo so roll on the weekend.

Anyone had any experience with shooting stinkies with a 9mm carbine?
I have got some Zero projectiles (115 & 125gn HP) which I think if I can drive them fast enough should expand ok.
I fitted the new trigger and 350 rounds later I can report that I like shooting this rifle a lot. The plate rack got a good going over as did some IPSC paper targets.
My only complaint is I have a sore thumb from loading the mag's. I have ordered a Lula mag loader to solve this.
I tried a number of loads and all shot accurately. I am slowly increasing the speed as the accuracy seems to be getting better as the loads near max.
I have had no gun malfunctions at all.
The new trigger is nice. Is about 4lb and very crisp which makes fast follow up shot easy. I had it drop to half cock once when I feathered the trigger and it tripled. It certainly has improved the accuracy potential of the rifle.
I have fitted the other trigger I got to my 3gun rifle so are looking forward to trying this out as well.
Lucky I can reload ammo for under $200 per 1000 as I can see this rifle getting a lot of use.
Quick update.
1500+ rounds down range now.
Accuracy and reliability is excellent for the Stag T9.
The Wilson Combat TTU trigger has proved to be very average. The weight and break are fantastic but the reset is such that holding the rifle anything but firmly results in light strikes and or full auto bursts. Its a Improvement on a stock trigger but the down side is the light strikes / full auto burst if you get a bit lazy or fire from a unconventional position.
This trigger is not suitable for competitive shooting. Plinking only in my mind.
I picked up a Maglula loader of the net which is a must with the 32 round stick mags. Only down side is I burn through the ammo as I have 5 mags.
Below is a typical 50 meter 5 shot group using the Spark with a 2 min dot that is mounted on it currently. The Spark 2 is excellent.

Yep its not looking good for them.
Shame, as they make some really good firearms.
I also have a Stag 300 Blackout upper as well which is just fantastic, reliability and accuracy wise.
Another quick update.
Round count is slight less than 2000 now. Christmas and the beach has slowed the round count down.
I replaced the Wilson Trigger with a 3lb Timney and 500 rounds latter I have had no issues with the trigger.
On the last shot this morning however I was hit in the face with part of the bolt stop that had parted company. Never found the spring.
I will be hitting up Jim (Guns NZ) for the necessary replacement parts. Hopefully they don't take too long to come. They should be covered under warranty??
The heavy bolt gives the bolt stop a fair hit so I don't know how long a replacement will last. Time will tell.
The bolt is locked back in the photo and you can clearly see the twist this puts on the bolt stop even when its just resting on it, let alone catching it on the fly.

This seems to be a common problem on ar9's unfortunately, my first one lasted under 500 rounds (small or under loaded mags) but my second one is still going strong.
I wonder if there is a list somewhere of what bolt stops are strongest?
I just had a call from Jim.
He is grabbing a replacement of another 9T he has in stock and will put on a courier early next week.
GunsNZ are great to deal with. Their service great.
The part steel quality is not the best by the look of it but also its very thin on the back side closest to the receiver. Just needs more meat.
The slot in the receiver that it fits into could also be tightened up which would give it some more support.
