Thread: "Stainless" Ruger Americans

Fantastic. Had mine a M77 MK11 for about 20 years now, used it full time goat hunting for over 10 years, didn't exactly look after it and it still looks new. Only thing you have to really take care of is the pins in the trigger group, magazine box and mag follower spring, as these parts are blued steel and will rust. However, by take care of I mean if using it every day in rain, hail, snow or sun...maybe strip it down once a month and spray some inox on it at best.
