    Steyr 338LM ELR

    Haven't been around lately, but it has been a very busy two weeks for me now. Was meaning to post this earlier but here goes:

    Part 2 of the Steyr 388LM to 1670m/ 1826 yds

    That's a long ass way Thomas. Effective to 1500m is pretty good shooting. Was it the wind that got it at 1670m?

    Not sure what it is. The bullet is subsonic out at 1670 but it also was at 1550. At 1550 the groups were still circular but at 1670 it was devidedly rectangular appr 120cm high and 80cm wide (very ish from observed strike).

    Ill try more and get more data.

    NICE , how many rounds can you fire before , you cannot see , due to heat off the suppressor ?
    Also , see you have tenebrax caps on your scope , how do you like them ?

    Tenebraex seems very good. A bit lumpy but way better than BC in function.

    10 shots maybe?

    Great shooting Norway. Consistent hits at 1500m is still pretty dam impressive.

    Thanks but not really sure if it is consistent yet - I will need to do it more before saying for sure. But I am fairly certain it'll do 1400.

    I'm just lobbing the bullets out and using the scope reticle for corrections. Time will show if it is possible to shoot anything useful on first shot etc...
