Stirling/Squires Bingham Owners - help required!

    Gidday Folks

I have a Winchester 22 rifle that supposedly fits one of the magazines that also fit one of the many Stirling models. So if you have such a beast could you please measure the magazine for me and advise which model you have. It doesn't matter whether it's 5 shot or more.

The magazine I have that fits is 11.75mm wide at the back, 11.3mm at the rounded front, and front to back measured square across is 28.1mm.

    Thanks

Hey thanks Muzza but if it fits a Mod69 it's not the right type!

The most likely candidates are the Stirling model 14 or 20 based on the pictures I've seen, capacity doesn't matter, I just need to know what will fit the mag well I have.

    Cheers

Winchester 320, also same mag as a Sportco Mod 66, or Kimber 82

Model 14p is what I have, the mag roughly matches the dimension stated (used a tape measure)

My measurements are more or less the same however the locating lugs are not the same as the magazine shown above, the lug on the round side is slightly below the one on the flat side on my mag

Hey thanks guys, looks like a 14P one might be worth a punt .. . . . The lugs can be readily altered.

Just found an off cut from one of the many 20P mags that I modified, width at the front is 11.17, width at the back is 11.00 and front to back is 29.60

    Cheers

Ive actually used a rebuilt toz 17mag in mine(P14).it was amagazine i rebuilt.the locating lug needed some tinkering with .Its Ok with normal ammo still a little 'unsteady' with subsonics at times.

Further study reveals there are two different iterations of thr 14P mag. A wide and a narrow basically. Dundees and Friwis measurements indicate the narrow one, I must neef the wide . . .
