Izhmash is one of the Russian Armoury manufacturers like Baikal, Toz etc. The straight pulls and the other .22 stuff like the Korshun, and SM2 are a special order item that they make but are not carried in stock like the Saigas (sporter AK actioned rifles). The centre fires like the Los (7.62x39, 308 or 9.3) are also made to order. These made to order models are much higher quality than you normally see. For example, The Bi 72KO A biathlons have an anshutz (A) barrel such is the grade of shooter they are designed for.

The Ross Mk III, yes. The Ross Mk II, NO.

Watch the recent You Tube video by Ian of Forgotten Weapons to see the difference. Hell of a lot easier than trying to comprehend a magazine article on the subject!
A good shot at close range beats a 'hit" at a longer range.

Don't know which one it is-I just know he had dramas with some reloaded ammo years ago-case got stuck and ended up tearing the whole base of the cartridge off trying to get it out.
he has a horrible temper so it would've been very funny (from a distance mind) watching him bash the bolt to get it out.

Dont want to forget the plastic washer in the Blaser either. Real hand grenade rifle those R93's. Rumour has it, Blaser owners lose 2 years off their expected life every time they pull the trigger.

Should anyone find one of these turd rifles (especially in 223Rem or 300WSM) message me and I will correctly dispose of it free of charge to you.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Once you've watched enough episodes of Hogans Heroes it will only ever be Shultz.

Is it really a thing to rework good German words for he benefit of international keyboard conventions ? I see their web page uses the umlaut and its only the address that has ue.

Hmm, not British fags. They have the Lee option and so have no need to go pull straight (haha, note my great pun!).

Straight pulls are slower than the short pull of the Lee and anyway kill your hands if you do a lot of shooting (talking of full bore rifles here, not .22RF).

@Stäger Sport Joel, do have an R93 Magnum bolt head and a mag insert that would suit 6.5PRC? (300 WinMag?)
Shut up, get out & start pushing!
