    Bugger wrong island would love that, Think I'll grab some APS450 (formally Ap50n), and go from there.

    Careful, APS450 is not formally AP50n ,it is AS50n which is a good deal faster. If you can get AP50 it makes a very good subsonic powder in 44 Mag. AP70 and Unique would be my pick for 44 Mag however. I havent tried APS450 myself and would like to know your results. The faster the powder used with these relatively heavy projectiles can lead to dangerous spikes in pressure with just minor variations in powder or projectile weight and lube.
