Thread: suppressor for 17hmr

Hello.

I'm thinking I should suppress my 17hmr to make it more neighbour friendly as well as nicer on my ears.

I'm in Morrinsville near Hamilton, and wondering what good gun smiths are near, who I can get to thread my barrel.
I spose I could ship it to get it done if no where local is any good.

What is the average sorta price to expect for a barrel threading?
I wouldn't mind getting a suppressor I can also put on my centrefires too. Is it worth buying a separate smaller/lighter one just for the 17?

I don't know anything about suppressors so any wisdom shared would be great.
