so it looks like a DPT is the more preferred and it make sense since I'm in the north island, but not much praise for hardy? hardy is local to me but i often travel to Hamilton so either one is fine by me. is there any reason to go for a DPT over a Hardy?

To my knowledge, the Hardy suppressors can not be disassembled, which would make it a NO GO for me personally.

How often would you take it apart and that would be for cleaning I’m assuming?

Yip for cleaning I never bother but it would be good practice to clean them and keep the threads very lightly lubricated
