I have another on a 308 Gen 2 suppressor which is nowhere near as bad and is not much different a setup. I’m burning about 55g of powder which I think is inside the recommended range for a non-magnum suppressor. The scope is 10x42 so not much difference again to the other rifle I shoot without as bad a mirage effect.
there anything I can do to reduce mirage?

Shoot with out it.
