Thread: Suppressor Question

Had a search but couldnt find the info i needed. Basically i have a dan can that came with a 7mm08 rifle that I purchased as a package.
With that rifle gone ive had it fitted to a 6.5mm swede.

My question is would it still be effective on a .243 or are the cans designed specifically for certain calibers (barring the magnums)?
