Suppressor suggestions for multi purpose rifle

6.5 creedmore, used for hunting target shooting mostly and dabbling in prs,
Like the look of Atek prs mod 2 but haven’t seen any reviews, have got got hardy dpt and maniatis suppressors on other rifles. Want something that can handle high rate of fire, so the Atek seems to fit the bill but havent met someone who has one

I have 3 A-Tec suppressors , but not the model you are looking at. I have an Optima 60, an Optima 45, and an older Carbon 2. They are all exceptionally good suppressors and I would have trouble convincing myself to buy another brand.

I have mates with locally made suppressors and there is no comparison between the noise reduction of the A-Tec and that of the locally made ones, although the models I have all indicate a higher noise reduction than the PRS 2 MOD suppressor, and none of mine incorporate a brake.

The Danish Sonic and Stealth suppressors have a built in stainless steel muzzle break and a stainless steel liner in each section so are reasonably resilient

The Sonic suppressors are by far my favourite brand I have tried. Effective suppression and recoil reduction, easy to strip and clean, nice touch of the internal brake to help the blast and very easy on the wallet

I reckon more maniatis suppressors have been sold second hand than have been produced new.

I have Sonic and DPT suppressors. Sonic definitely weighs more, but has built in muzzle brake and like FSS says, stainless steel insert on each baffle, easy to strip. DPT much lighter. Both make a noticeable difference in recoil reduction and noise, I suspect the Sonic maybe more so, though that could be just due to the weight - thicker walls, etc? DPT preference for hunting though, just from a weight point of view, its still works well, and not going to wear it out hunting! Reality is though, could easily add muzzle brake, stainless baffle, extra baffles to the DPT and still have change? I haven't tried swapping between the two, to see if POI changes... they are on different rifles, different thread.

I have both A-tec h2 on a 7mm prc and DPT mk2 on the 6.5 cm. Both with their respective brake module. If you are shooting PRS match and doing lot of range work I would go with the DPT. It doesn’t seems to suffer from erosion as bad as the H2 A-tec. I take care to unscrew modules after a range session, clean and use wd40 or crc however the A-tec baffles seems to erode a lot. No sign of erosion on the DPT.
