    Suppressor for tube fed .22

    Hi All,

I have a really nice Remmington tube fed .22 that I would love to run a suppressor off.

My only problem is that the tube is quite close to the end of he barrel and I would need to take the supressor off every time I reload.

Are there any other options out there for thin suppressors that would work allowing the tube to come past?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Cameron

Speak to a manufacturer and see if they can custom one with a channel section, might mean a few extra dollars...

Or spend a few extra seconds unwinding then winding back on when you need to reload...

I would look at a quick detach type setup like some run on AR's, then you just twist it off, reload, and twist it back on again

I had Greg Maniatus put one on the end of my marlin model 60. He machined a face off the grip for the magazine follower so that when you turn it to remove the follower the flat face lines up with the suppressor and goes right past.

my sportsman 15 I have a mighty mouse on and I can get the tube past if I'm willing to take paint off the suppressor in the process...... but 15 shots is more than I would normally use so I just load the mag then screw the can on
if I do need to reload it doesn't take a sec to take the suppressor off to load the tube and put it back on

I will never part with it either. I love that rifle. Shoots amazingly and the suppressor is quiet as.

I believe I sold it to sneeze.

R93 could you please post your address. I need to burgle your house to get it back. Fortunately I have another one.

PM will be sent. Take the rifle and we will have a problem. But if ya run off with my wife and kids, I might throw in some of my good hunting spots to sweeten the deal
