Dont expect her to enjoy carrying it if you get a MAE
Dont expect her to enjoy carrying it if you get a MAE
she will survive I remember when I was a skinny rake lugging a military mauser around the place when that's all you've got you learn to harden up and get on with it different story if money was no object I like the maes never had a problem with them
My Ruger M77 .243 is currently being shortened by Hugh Bradley to 18in, he is then fitting a A-Tec suppressor to it, will lighten it up somewhat, that said I still have my MAE over barrel I can use if I wish.
Thread remains 1/2 x 20, and will continue to run Sierra 85g HPBT at about 3100fps.

Ran a model 7 at 16in 85gn tsx at 3k dpt supp handloads of 2206
@Huk how did you find them on game? those 85's interest me
The smallest and lightest model from us for the .243 Win, is the SL5i
Fits on the palm of your hand, fully welded stainless steel construction and weighing c. 340 grams.
If one wants to use it on larger calibres, go with the .30 calibre.
If only wishing to use on 6.5x55, .243 and and anythiging smaller, then the .25 calibre one.
Best Regards!

shit that's one small suppressor how well does it work
They're pretty good man. Was impressed with my SL5.
Running dpt and barrel cut to 20.5 getting 3000fps average, using HDY 87g softpoint, 43.5g of 2209, guessing the 90g Speer and 44g of 2209 would be similar speed just haven't chronographed yet.
rifle has been sent away for the chop hoping to get a m14 thread on it
