Thread: Swarovski optics

Hi all just wondering who has 1st hand experience buying Swaro optics and where the best place to get them from is. Looking at getting a new spotting scope

Hunting & Fishing Invercargill would be your best bet. Not too much of a commute (if you live in Gore) and they could probably bring in a few different models for you to try as well.

I've ordered Swaro stuff from H&F, and they were fine to deal with.

Just bought mine from local H&F. They have always been good to me

Swarovski seems to be virtually the same price through out. I was told by one retailer it’s hard to get an account with them if there is already a local retailer supplying in area.

Or buy online if you dont want to support your local Humping and Fisting shop after the way they shafted firearms owners last year.

Pretty much Swaro Aust/NZ price fix the retail market. They have limited dealers and any that discount are at risk of losing the agency. Over the last 18 months I have bought 5 x Z5’s and a BTX spotter set up and even buying two or three scopes at a time didn’t bring on the discount. I would support the small operators though. H &F now have the lions share of Swaro retail outlets and if we end up losing the independents then Swaro pricing could return to NZ Ammo days. I have to say in Swaro’s defence of their distribution policy it has bought us in NZ the best pricing globally.
